 A tragic collision on the R40 road in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, has left 15 passengers dead following a head-on crash between a light delivery vehicle (LDV) and a minibus. The incident occurred when both vehicles were traveling from opposite directions, leading to a devastating impact.

 

Witnesses reported that both vehicles caught fire after the collision, complicating rescue efforts. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were on the scene.Preliminary reports suggest that 15 individuals have lost their lives, with an additional two passengers suffering injuries. 

 

The exact cause of the crash remains unknown, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this horrific accident. As more information becomes available, the community mourns the loss of those affected by this tragedy.
