In a recent development, all 11 accused individuals in the driving licence fraud case have been granted bail of R8,000 each at the Lephalale Magistrate Court. This outcome has raised mixed reactions within the community as the case moves forward.

  THE HAWKS ARRESTS TRAFFIC OFFICER AND DRIVING SCHOOLS OWNERS FOR ALLEGED CORRUPTION RELATED OFFENCES   LEPHALALE  Four suspects, two driving schools owners,Traffic Officer (examiner), and a former Traffic officer (former examiner) between the ages of 37 and 61 were arrested for alleged fraud, corruption and money laundering at Lephalale this morning on Wednesday, 28 May 2025.  According to the information obtained from the Hawks Limpopo spokesperson Warrant Officer Lethunya Mmuroa, it alleged that during 2021, the examiners attached to Lephalale Testing Station connived with the driving schools owners and defrauded the Department of Road and Transport by issuing learners and driver's lisences to the applicants without following proper procedures in return of gratification.  The information was brought to the attention of the Polokwane based Hawks' Serious Corruption Investigation (SCI) and the Road Traffic Management Cooperation (RTMC).   A joined investi...

The cloned number plate is LT 57 JG GP.  The man is wanted in connection with the alleged murder of a 30-year-old female.  Olorato Mongale went on a date with her alleged killer who picked her up from her residential complex driving a white vw polo.
