A 30-year-old former driving school instructor from Limpopo, was arrested on 03 June 2025 during a joint operation by the Polokwane #Hawks’ Serious Corruption Investigation and the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) for alleged corruption.

A 30-year-old former driving school instructor from Limpopo, was arrested on 03 June 2025 during a joint operation by the Polokwane #Hawks’ Serious Corruption Investigation and the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) for alleged corruption.


It is alleged that between 2020 and 2021, the suspect acted as an intermediary in fraudulent activities involving officials attached to the Lephalale Testing Station, while employed as a driving school instructor in Lephalale.


The arrest forms part of an ongoing investigation that has already led to the arrest of 14 other suspects, including traffic officials, driving school owners, and a former traffic examiner between February and June 2025. The suspect will appear in the Lephalale Magistrate’s Court on 04 June 2025.
