Lephalale – The Police in Lephalale have launched a manhunt for suspects following the brutal murder of a foreign national man aged 39, in what appears to be a vigilante attack on Monday morning, 12 May 2025 at about 08:00 at Marapong Extension 3. Police were called to the scene, following reports of mob justice in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered an African male lying on the ground, severely assaulted, bleeding and partially clothed. Emergency medical services were immediately summoned, and the victim was transported to the local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The case, initially opened as Assault with Intent to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH), has since been converted to murder. The motive behind the killing is still under investigation. No arrests have been made yet. (Alleged Suspect) (Alleged Victim) The police in Tinmyne under Waterberg District were alerted to this gruesome discovery of a lifeless body of female victim,  which was in an advanced state of decomposition, wrapped with a plastic bag under the bridge on Sunday 23 March 2025 at about 13:10 .  Responding to the gruesome scen, the police conducted an intelligence driven operation led by SAPS Mahwelereng detectives and Tinmyn. The operation yielded positive results and a suspect was identified and subsequently  arrested at Mookgophong on Saturday, 12 April 2025. Preliminary reports revealed that the suspect allegedly committed murder at Rosslyn, Pretoria north in Gauteng, then disposed of her body at Mamatlakala bridge village in Limpopo Province Waterberg District.
